We are Birdhouse Books: A locally owned and operated vintage and used bookstore located in downtown Vancouver, WA’s arts district. We specialize in antiques, classics, philosophy, sci-fi fantasy, and poetry, but we have a diverse selection and hope everyone will find something they are interested in!
Birdhouse Books is located in the space below Short and Sweet and a block from Kiggins Theatre in Vancouver, Washington’s beautiful downtown arts district. We encourage you to grab a boba tea and a sandwich at the cafe upstairs before strolling downstairs to our space to browse works from local artists and our curated collection of used and vintage books.
Birdhouse Books is run by two Vancouver locals, Sarah and Lucas, whose love for unique and antique books outgrew their bookshelves at home. We believe in birds, not bots. We’re real bonafide humans, with hopes and dreams and neuroprocessors. Whoops, forget that last one.
